Stain Removal Guides

  • Follow the step by step procedures listed in sequence. This will ensure the removal of most carpet stains.
  • Do not rub carpet areas but apply in a dabbing motion.

  1. Water - blot - detergent - blot detergent - blot - water - blot.
  2. Detergent - blot - ammonia . blot - detergent - blot . water . blot. For blood ingredients must be cold.
  3. Dry cleaning solvent - detergent - blot - water - blot.
  4. Detergent - blot - white vinegar - detergent - blot - water - blot. If any stains remain, follow step K.
  5. Detergent - blot - ammonia - blot - white vinegar - blot - detergent - blot - water - blot.
  6. Detergent - blot - white vinegar - blot - ammonia - blot - water - blot.
  7. Seek help from professional carpet cleaners.
  8. Freeze with ice cube - shatter with blunt object - vacuum up chips - apply dry cleaning solvent - wait several minutes - blot - repeat if necessary.
  9. Dry cleaning solvent - wait several minutes - blot - detergent - blot - water - blot.
  10. Methylated spirits - blot - repeat if necessary. Pre test as you would all solutions.
  11. Apply nail polish remover (non oily) with cotton bud and remove using plain paper towel - blot - repeat.
